Lucy Frederick is a comedian and writer as well as an accomplished character actor. Well known at the Edinburgh Fringe for her ‘eye wateringly honest’ (The Scotsman) shows about the human condition.

She is a regular on the stand up circuit; an accomplished MC working at Up The Creek, Crack Comedy, Good Ship Comedy and the Poodle Club regularly amongst others.

She can currently be found on CBBC playing ‘Tammy Triangle” in OddSquad and on the big screen (very briefly) playing “Misinformed Munchkin” in Wicked:For Good. In the theatre her roles have included Bab Snatchett in A Christmas Carole at Southend Palace Theatre, The Priestess in The Church of Princess Cassandra at the Edinburgh Fringe and Rose Lavender in a National Tour of Myra DuBois:Cosmic Empath. In 2023 she made her panto debut as Fleshcreep in Jack and the Beanstalk at The Theatre Royal Stratford East, for which she was nominated for a Panto Award. She has since gone on to enjoy two years of playing the dame in panto at The Oxford Playhouse.

She has also appeared in advertising campaigns for Victorian Plumbing, Curry’s and Procell Batteries.

As a writer, Lucy has written for The Guardian on Sunday, The Metro, Aquila children’s magazine and The Funny Women website. Her plays have been performed at a number of Off West End theatres. Praise for these includes –
